Insurance & Fee-for-Service Policy
I do not accept insurance and am considered an out-of-network, fee-for-service licensed clinical social worker.
I do my best clinical work when my time and resources are focused on treatment planning, client engagement, and high-quality care. Participating as an in-network provider requires extensive administrative work that can interfere with the depth and consistency of treatment.
All sessions are:
- Fee-for-service
- Out-of-network
- Due at the time of service
While I do not submit insurance claims on your behalf, I can provide a medical superbill so you may request reimbursement directly from your insurance company if your plan allows. Reimbursement approval and amounts are determined solely by your insurer and cannot be guaranteed.
I do not participate in Medicare or Medicaid and do not provide Medicare “opt-out” letters.

Submitting Claims for Out-of-Network Reimbursement
Some insurance plans offer partial reimbursement for out-of-network virtual therapy. Coverage varies by insurer and plan.
I recommend contacting your insurance company directly to ask about your benefits. Upon request, I can provide a medical superbill for you to submit for reimbursement.
Some clients choose to use Mentaya, a service that helps navigate out-of-network benefits and reimbursement questions.
